Directory Joining Criteria
In order to maintain a high quality directory, members can nominate companies to be listed. They must be known to the member in a professional capacity. Once a proposal has been made it will be put to the members and if a majority agree membership will be given.
All companies listed must agree to our Code of Conduct.
All organisations must have a publicly visible online presence (website and/or social media).
In addition certain categories have additional requirements as follows:
| Category | Criteria |

| Funeral Director | Must be a member of NAFD or SAIF or must have applied to be a member of either and obtain membership within 6 months of joining. Independent funeral directors must use a premises that is a member or have applied for membership. |
| Funeral Celebrant | Must have received recognised face to face training from a reputable organisation. Online qualifications are not recognised. |
| End of Life Doula | Must have received recognised face to face training from a reputable organisation. Online qualifications are not recognised. |
| Care Providers | Must have an overall CQC Rating of at least Good. Requires improvement and Inadequate will not be accepted in any category. Must demonstrate provision of enhanced End of Life training for Care Staff over and above online training. |
Listing cost
There is a minimal contribution of £50 requested per year to cover the costs of administering the network.
